Chantilly Air is advertising again for pilots, but they never respond to applications. what gives with their hiring practices?

Odds are that you will have a difficult time getting on with them if you don't know any of the pilots... but even if you don't I might suggest just swinging by and saying hi. Chat with the pilots and see if you can't get introduced to the DO or Chief Pilot.

The problem lies in the fact that a hiring manager (the CP) flies trips and does IOE on the new pilots. As a result, things like hiring often get tossed to the side. It's not a huge operation either, so the need to hire/interview continuously like an airline isn't necessary... they might just keep the job posted to get new resumes and applicants into the pile/pool.
