southeast high time job

At one of the flight schools I went to in florida there was a retired TWA 747 captain getting his cfi&cfii. He got a job at the piper factory in Vero Beach doing turbine transition training for new Malibu Meridian Owners. It sounded like the perfect after retirement job. Great equipment, teching adults in a high performance single turbo prop. Low stress and easy hours in a beautiful beach community. He said for that position they really wanted someone with lots of experience to put the new owners at ease. I saw him about a year after he got the job doing his preflight briefing over breakfast in CJ's the resturaunt on the field in Vero. Maybe the piper factory has more postions like that, or maybe someone is leaving.

With your experience, we should be asking you that question! You must know many people in the aviation industry. You remind me of a friend, post 60, he knows everyone! You can do what he does, fly someone's corporate jet around.
