I just wanted to let everyone know about Aviation Interviews latest adventure.
We are putting on a job fair this summer!
What will make this job fair so much different?
It's affordable!
Yep, $25 per person, that's it! ($50pp after May 31)
If you would like more info, please go here

Is ASA the only airline attending? It seems like a waste to go if the only airline attending is ASA...

English
I've been working on several other airlines, fractionals, ect. Most of them are interested, but are trying to find "room in their budgets". Some of them do not fly to CLE, therefore they would have to buy tickets on other airlines to attend (you get the point).

Since you are trying to get this established, you should extend the $25 fee through the entire registration. I can't see spending the money with only one airline going so far. If you extend the $25 fee and more airlines sign up, I'd go.

The thought behind the discounted rate in the beginning was..........the convention center wanted an estimate on how many people would be attending. I figured that no one would want to sign up early or have any benefit to signing up early if the price was the same the entire time. If you can pay the same amount 2 months in advance or at the door, why would you register ahead of time? I may extend the deadline until 2 weeks before the show if that will make a difference.

Thanks for your comments :)

what a scam. spend $25 to talk with a third string ASA recruiter.

Send me your $25. You have just as good a chance of getting a job doing that.

Hey, give the guy/gal some credit for trying to start a non-expensive alternative to Air Inc. Without Kit's money, it may take some time to get this thing started. If a few big names sign up, it could really work.
Look at how awsome the gouge site is. It has to be the main source for interview information in the US.

Any organization that can provide authentic, current interview help and legitimate, realistic and truthful (i.e. no pie-in-the-sky pilot "shortage") aviation career counseling is one that I'd support.

amfteamster,
Do a little checking around/research before you criticize this guy. You've probably checked his website for FREE interview info in the past. He's trying to do something positive for those of us looking for jobs, and in a way that doesn't gouge us. Most of that $25 is going to an aviation scholarship.

I'm willing to bet you'd wish you could have the money you've paid to the teamsters back in your pocket, when compared to all the help they're supposed to have been to you. A member of the TEAMSTER's union accusing someone else of a scam! Please, the lack of historical knowlege on your part is killing me!

Hey everyone, just a quick update. ATA will be attending the job fair as well.
