Position Title: 727 First Officer
Department: Flight Operations
Opening Date: May 09, 2003
Closing Date: 05/16/03
Pay Range: $43.25/ hr with 65 hour guarantee; $45.41/hr. with 65 hour guarantee
Position Description/objective •Pre-flights aircraft to ensure it is airworthy and free of maintenance defects.
•Manages the aircraft engines and systems in flight to achieve smooth and efficient operation.
•Loads and unloads the aircraft when away from domicile.
Required skills and experience •High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
•Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
•Must be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
•Valid Alaska drivers license with good driving record.
•Passport preferred.
•Must be able to work flexible hours.
•Applicant must possess one or all of the following:
1) FAA Multi-Engine ATP Certificate. Previous Part 121 and A&P Mechanics Certificate preferred. First Class FAA Medical Certificate; OR 2) Flight Engineer License and A&P Mechanics Certificate. Second Class FAA Medical Certificate; OR 3) A&P Certificate with maintenance experience on DC-6 aircraft. Second Class FAA Medical Certificate.
Must be able to pass DOT drug test and background check pursuant to the Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996.
