Can you guys tell me where you stay when laying over in JFK. Does the hotel provide shuttle service to/from JFK? We are currently staying at the Five Towns and are looking for an alternative place to stay.
Thanks

We stay in Radisson JFK. Not much around, OK room service and some remodelling here and there to keep you up if you fly red eyes :) but they promised soon to be done with that.

Vans are running 24/7 with pick up at the terminal or at the federal circle station. They depart the hotel on the hour and at :30 min.

What's wrong with the Pound Cake Palace?

I think the Sunrise Executive Suites went through a recent remodel. Outside still looks bad but they did a pretty good doing the inside. Not sure about the price these days though. A few airlines put up there and several commuters call it home.

Hilton Garden Inn on south conduit near the airport. Nice hotel and cheap breakfast in the morning.

Try the Pan American Hotel located inbetween LGA and JFK. (They're on the web) Decent rooms, shuttle to LGA and JFK on the hour and prices from $89 or so for one night with airline discount.
