Just got an e-mail stating the JetRide and Pinnacle deal has been delayed for 2-3 weeks. This is quite surprising. A few days ago, everything was on track for a September 1 closing. Kind of a bummer to have to keep waiting.

PS -- The original Pinnacle thread was getting long so I made this new one.

Doesn't suprise me. The last time a big corporate sale was going to go through with Airnet/Jetride, it fell through at the last minute.

I think this is essentially a done deal. I don't think it will fall through. It just sounds like there are legal issues putting it in a holding pattern.

Just got an email from PCL HR department saying that JR's health bennies will still change over to theirs tomorrow so this thing is still on for now!

Yeah, I thought this was weird. Jetride pilots will remain Airnet employees until closing, but will be on Pinnacle's health benefits. How is that even legal?
