208starcheck said:I was offered a job there about 2 years ago. I gave Airnet my 2 weeks notice only to have Jetlinx extend my start date by 3 weeks. I said ok let me see if Airnet will let me stay on longer. Airnet was good about it and let me stay for the additional 3 weeks. Apparently Jetlinx was not going to have their plane ready for that additional 3 weeks and they wanted to save a couple dollars. I should have ran right then. If they can't afford my salary for 3 weeks, they must be tight on money. One week into the 3 week period I got another call. Jetlinx wanted to extend my hire date up to another month but they didn't know when. I told them I will not have a paycheck. He said sorry but their plane isn't going to be ready yet. I then called the Airnet CP and asked if I could keep my job. Lucky no one bid my run in the past 2 weeks so I didn't have to move out of OMA. The people at Jetlinx are very nice but I would watch out. They don't seem to honor their offers. Last I heard the pilots there only recieve the minimum days off per quarter under 135. I think that is 13 days. Something to ask about.
I have since gone to Netjets. Thank god I didn't go to Jetlinx.
