I was offered a job there about 2 years ago. I gave Airnet my 2 weeks notice only to have Jetlinx extend my start date by 3 weeks. I said ok let me see if Airnet will let me stay on longer. Airnet was good about it and let me stay for the additional 3 weeks. Apparently Jetlinx was not going to have their plane ready for that additional 3 weeks and they wanted to save a couple dollars. I should have ran right then. If they can't afford my salary for 3 weeks, they must be tight on money. One week into the 3 week period I got another call. Jetlinx wanted to extend my hire date up to another month but they didn't know when. I told them I will not have a paycheck. He said sorry but their plane isn't going to be ready yet. I then called the Airnet CP and asked if I could keep my job. Lucky no one bid my run in the past 2 weeks so I didn't have to move out of OMA. The people at Jetlinx are very nice but I would watch out. They don't seem to honor their offers. Last I heard the pilots there only recieve the minimum days off per quarter under 135. I think that is 13 days. Something to ask about.

I have since gone to Netjets. Thank god I didn't go to Jetlinx.

do you still live in OMA with net jets or have you moved on?

I have moved on. I left for LA after OMA to log some jet time with Airnet, now I live back home in Seattle. I only went to Airnet to pay my dues. If you live in OMA Jetlinx might be an ok option but I don't trust them "any further than I can throw them" (name that movie). If it were me, I would get on with Netjets, pay my dues with them in order to some day be able to move home with a good flying job. You will have to move for 95% of the flying jobs, but Netjets might get you flying from home one day.
