Pulling out is kinda the wrong way to phrase it. But in answer to your question, yes ... I think. Probably a short term decision, we often do this type of thing on what the headshed calls "seasonal" routes.

Remember though, while pulling out may provide the best, shall I say "frictional satisfaction," a raincoat is always your best best for protection.

Besides, once we get the 190 west, BUR-LAS will be a 190 route.

:D

I wish this was simply a seasonal effort but I am pretty sure LAS does not have a season. We simply made a mistake with this route and even bigger with BUR-MCO...seriously what were we thinking.

I have to disagree, there are many friends/neighbors/coworkers that are wondering why we are stopping BUR-LAS. Also wondering why there is little to no advertising in the Los Angeles area.

They claimed loads were "full" when I talked to the agents working in BUR. What, do they need to be fuller? Lies all lies.... This was one of the first times JB had direct competition from WN....

Seasonal as in ... gas is soon gonna be 5 dollars a gallon at the pump, school is back in session and no one can afford the money or time to go to Las Vegas.

Sad to see the hooker shuttle go. Lots of first time flyers and the occasional porn star on that route from the times I flew it. Many converts from swa. MCO-BUR was a mistake. No denying that.

Did hear we weren't advertising enuff. Wonder why.

BUR-LAS were full. MCO-BUR, not so much. Why one goes so both go ... I dunno.

Loads have nothing to do with it, any plane can be filled. It's all about the yeild baby.

Riiiiiight...

I guess I should have accused our customers of lying (and their were many) who told me: that this was their "first time on jb" and "they usually took swa" and that they "had a great flight" and that they "would be flying jb again." I actually flew this leg multiple times and heard those types of things quite a bit. Why they tried jb I dunno. I could toss a compliment your way and say your flight was full?

Sorry dude, it wasn't flame nor was it intended as bravado. Just my experience. Thanks for putting me straight. Riiiiight.

Unless you get 10 people whose fares pay for the cost of the trip and a profit, then yes, loads have something to do with it.

Get it straight

What you said to start this is

Many converts from swa

That sorta sounds like flame, but your response above is more believable. Glad the folks had a good ride, they deserve it no matter who they ride on. Best of luck.

I didn't "start" anything. 250 million plus profit and you are that sensitive? Especially since jb is an airline less than one quarter your size? Come on, dude.

Go to: http://chairforce.com/ and relaxxxxxx. Thought this one: http://chairforce.com/easy-chair/humor/new-usaf-ribbons.htm was particularly funny.

Go Navy!

Hey Dude, I've been down the 101 and there's plenty of advertising......

Oh, did you mean about JetBlue? Sorry dude

If I had the choice, Id fly JB if it was the same price. Tv's keep my little ones busy, and a plane ride is a plane ride if the price is the same. 10 bucks a ticket is 40 bucks more out of my pocket. Price is king, tv is icing on the cake.

And yes, I fly for swa.

333 million!!

When I have the choice I know I choose JB over SW any day of the week. It's a no-brainer. And I have heard people getting off the JB flights raving about how much they enjoyed the ride. It's a good product.

250 million plus without income from selling fuel hedges or something like that.

What a "Tool" you are. I flew this trip many times and it was full.
