JetBlue Midwest Base?????

I've heard rumors here and there about a JB midwest base. Can anyone at JB confirm that or was that all smoke???

There isn't even a presence in the Midwest, let alone an opportunity to turn that into a base. Is this wishful thinking on your part? If so, just get in line.

However, there will be an announcement shortly of a west coast base. We're (and I mean management) in the evaluation process. Location is pretty well known within the company but not for public dissemination yet. At least that was our story while at the AirInc conference this weekend. Dean made us promise. But "surf's up" did come up during the forum briefing by Matt.
