DOH !!!!

BizEX got DOH. Saab 340 CA at BezEx = insant EMB145 Ca At Eagle.. So your concept is not to far off!! But i doubt they will buy Eagle.

JB wants a bunch of small RJ's? Why? Even other carriers wanna get rid of 50 seat feeders.

But you won't get this with Jetblue

Financially troubled American Airlines, shows priorities:

American Airlines announced today that it will offer new health coverage for transgender AMR Corporation employees, further expanding its partnership with the LGBT community. This announcement is huge, because it adds coverage for gender reassignment surgery, which is a rarity in the world of insurance. The health care will also ensure that same-sex domestic partners are included under Family and Medical Leaves of Absence.

“American Airlines continually evaluates all of our benefits programs including health insurance coverage for our employees and retirees. We take special pride in knowing we were the first airline to implement same-sex partner health benefits, and also the first airline to add gender identity nondiscrimination to our employment policies. These latest changes are one way we hope to ensure we remain the employer of choice for the best qualified candidates," said Lauri Curtis, American Airline's Vice President of Diversity, Leadership & Engagement

not sure what you're smoking...

Why would we want to buy a money losing plan. The RJ does not make any $$ any more...our 190s burn just a bit more than the CR7 and carry 100.

why do you thing all the legacy carriers are trying to dump their regional partners for cheaper work and no 50 seaters???

hope you like your canadian jet...a purchase/merger..whatever, will NEVER happen with us (JB).

190's burn 22% more than CRJ-700s.

This is an Eagle pilot dream. Won't happen. Ask yourself, what does JB have to gain by buying Eagle? Routes? Infrastructure? A bunch of outdated, cramped 50 seaters that would piss off their customers? Nope. AA owns all of that.

Waste of time. Keep dreaming. Won't happen. JB has NOTHING to gain by purchasing Eagle except ALPA, which managment DOES NOT WANT.

how to replace Jetblue pilots with Eagle pilots

Jetblue buys eagle, trains eagle pilots, jetblue pilots get axed then their 5 year contract comes due --- ever heard of midwest, and eagle gets bigger planes with a younger work force, and jetblue pilots go bye-bye.

history has a way of repeating itself

Keep dreamin kid.

That's because it's bigger with bigger motors...CF34-10E1
and carrys 30% more pax...with longer range

We've had it do:

LGB-JFK
LGB-IAD
couldn't quite reach going westbound...needs another 1000lbs of gas to do it legally.
JFK-DEN-JFK
JFK-SLC-JFK

although right now...it's longest haul is BOS-AUS.

We will NEVER buy/aquire/merge with Eagle. There is NO benefit. There was more of a chance with Frontier and we didn't put a dog in that fight.

Plus, the CRJ isn't all that comfy for even a short flight...and limited to CAT II. ZFW would go to sh!t with the LiveTV install and rafts.

It'll never happen Eagle...sorry fellas.

Then you wake up with your joystick in your hand and the sheets stuck to your legs.

Embry-Riddle and UND are teaming up to buy JetBlue. Select elite students to be placed on top of their First Officer list and to the top of Captain list once an ATP is attained. After all, carefully monitored academic education and advanced jet training trumps operational experience. This can be verified on the two school's websites.
