One thing that is interesting is JBLU is adding capacity at a rate faster than it is adding passengers. Thus the drop in LF.

I believe this may be the only airline that has reported such a trend for April.

Wow...never anything positive to say.

I again ask why. Why do you continue to get off on the problems of others. So our LF dropped a bit. Our performance is up and we are still growing. If there had been a huge seperation between added seats vs. drop in load I would agree with you...but there was not. I am not trying to start a flight with you as I do not have time but I think its amazing that others, who do the same job as us, who are in the same profession as us, refuse to support our fellow pilots during this extreemly rough time in the industry. I would love to see the day that someone actually has something nice to say about another airline, instead of this continual bashing of other to make themselves feel better. Ok, done ranting..

This is a definite downward trend by Jetblue, since Easter fell in a different month last year. Most of the other airlines show skewed 4-6 pt improvement year over year.

Jetblue's downward trend is a reflection of new yield mgt pricing and their refusal to hook the bottomfeeder at all cost. Fare buckets for discount seats are being reduced in favor of latching the higher paying last minute traveler at add'l cost. This new trend should continue as the airline looks to right it's pricing to correct yield inefficiencies.

Time will tell if they have the proper blend to maintain a profit and still keep loyal customers.
