Jeppesen made a DVD a few years ago going over all of the jepp charts (approach, high and low level etc). It helped me out a lot as I only used the NACO charts as a poor CFI.

The DVD is around $70 new. PM me. I can help you out

In all honesty, you don't need anything. I never read anything but mil charts (NOAA) my entire flying career and it took me about 10 minutes to get used to Jepp's once I started with CAL. Nothing cosmic whatsoever. My .02.

PS. How is the search going? You still trying with CAL?

Jepp's are Volpe, same format.

I agree with the posters that say no big deal. Save your money or invest in a good copy of FAR121/AIM. You'll have more trouble adjusting to the FAR's than Jepps.
The big difference in Military and Civilian flying is that your license is on the line every time you close the door and taxi out. What is "safe" to take in the air isn't always legal, so get to know the regs and listen to the guys who have flown the line for a while to get the right mindset for civil flying. I did 20 years flying with the Navy, but I left it behind me and went to the new set of rules, no problem.
Gemini is hiring through the first quarter of next year, but it's mostly to replace attrition. A DC-10 class will start in the next month or so.
Good luck to you wherever you end up!
