My boss is extremely slow to update the database on the 430 in both of our airplanes... however, 98% of what we do is VFR so it's not a huge deal and I've always got current IFR charts for when we are IFR. Lately, however, I've run across many frequencies that are incorrect (it's much quicker to use than a sectional or any paper directory) and seen where 2 MOAs have morphed into one in a couple of places, most recently near Shreveport yesterday.

I want to get them updated pretty soon and keep pushing the Skybound service.

My big question is this: can you update a different card every other time with one subscription? For instance, will it allow us to update our 206 this 28-day cycle and update the 210 on the next 28-day cycle and keep flip-flopping? Does the service somehow recognize the individual cards?

I think you can probably do that with no problem. We have a 530 and a 430 in the plane and I keep them both updated. But I have heard others with the same set up do what you suggest, keep one current and the other 28 days behind.
