Isn't it funny how things work...about a year and a half ago flying 135 & 125 freight was out of the question for most people. Now everybody and their dogs wants to work here. Are we still the scum of the earth? Will having the demand for our positions going up improve our standing within the aviation community (i.e. will companies that traditionally would have never looked at freight pilots before now see that the pilots coming out of 135/125 freight have a lot to offer?) The question that gets rubbed off onto we pilots so often is questionable practices within companies. We have many great pilots within our organization (a well positioned DA-20/LR24/LR25 operator in the south).
I know I've carried on here a bit but I'd like to know what you guys think. Aside from a few on this board there are some pretty intelligent guys and gals on here. How will we stand after the downturn turns upward?

My thoughts

I guess I always thought flying freight made for great flying experience, ie. flying at night in the soup. I thought you could explain that as a positive in an interview. Am I totally wrong on this or is the above post about freight pilots correct.
