I heard about an operator out in Nebraska that does that ...

I guess you could hop from Grand Island, but where to?

Sorry, but don't have too much info about the "Island Hopping" this thread is referring too.....I'm sure it depends on what Islands you are wishing to hop?

Hawaiian? Caribbean? Look up some operators out of SJU or maybe Nassau.

I think if you are more specific. you might get better answers. Are you loking for the Caribbean? Instruction? Guided tour operators? Reference books?

i'm interested in doing some instruction in the carrib. but can't really find too many flight schools down there on line. charter operators either. any help?

Cape Air

Cape Air out of Hyannis flies the Bahamas in the winter time. Look them up on the web.

Don't you know...

... that Caribes come to South Florida for their flight training...(then stay and take jobs that would normally go to US pilots)

Go to Ft. Lauderdale and look for air florida, air sunshine, bimini island air, yellow air taxi, cape air, florida coastal airlines ( most fly c402's, some also other stuff). There are even a few companies flying Islanders (cat island air?).

Other companies fly out of Opa Locka. There is also vintage props and jets (or vintage jets and props) hopping around in King Air 100's, based in the Orlando area.
And of course I forgot Gulfstream.
