What's happening at Island Air lately? Any class scheduled yet? I heard that the sale should be done this month...

Right now they are saying May 11 for the sale to be complete, they just blessed the 5th plane April 30. We can't start using it until the sale is done. HNL-KOA and OGG-KOA slated to start May 11. I heard mid-may for a new hire class but I have not heard an official word on that as of yet.

Been awhile since I checked in with HR and they probably wouldn't tell me anyway but are they still interviewing for the pool and when was the last f/o class?

Looks like AQ is still actively hiring.

Just got the call today, there will be a new hire class starting June 7. I interviewed in October 2002 so its been a long awaited call (I did have to pass on the previous 2 ground schools due to military oblications). And to answer the question the last class was March 1st.
Anyone else in the June 7th class?

I opened interview offer-email from Island air one day late..and the interview slot for May is already filled..too bad..I believe they just started interview again for the pool.

Congrats Skyride! Since you've got a month before classes check out www.dashflash.com. It's review material put together by an IA pilot. Good gouge.

I got the call yesterday FOR THE JUNE 7TH CLASS!!!!! I will be there!

I'm kinda bummed though; I didn't make it to my 2 year anniversary of being in the pool (MMMUUUCH sarcasm...)
