I don't post too much on the board but I keep hearing a rumor that management at B6 is canning some senior pilots on the slightest reason - ostensibly so crew costs are kept down.

Confirm or deny, flame away if you must.

Wow that's a new one. I've been there for nine months and have moved up one senioity number for a retirement. All the five year contracts have been renewed and we pay for our buses. However we still drink the cool aid.

I think their management can see the fallout of this type of action, it would probably be the quickest way to get a union on the property.

Actually, they are not just canned. They are killed and their meat is fed to the incoming classes. It's all a cycle, you see. It's a pretty brutal place to work. And, the reason no one is moving up in seniority is because they give new hires some of those seniority numbers. I was hired in October and was given seniority number 22. I don't know a heck of a lot about the airbus but I am a Captain and check airman.

ACTUALLY, I think some people outside of the company just loves to keep this rumor going. If this was happening, there would be a union in about half a second.

Dave, you ain't ever going to get there. Change the avitar.

It's AVATAR. Do I need to enroll you in some additional training? You have no idea how qualified I am. Besides, I'll just put on a good show in the interview, and I'll be fine.

I thought it was AVATAR? Now you've got me totally confused.

Careful with all the spelling corrections guys. The mispellin mafia will come on this thread and berate you for knowing how to spell and being less than tolerant of those who cannot. Trust me it could happen to you.:p Don't hate us because we can spell.
