Yea. Shrinkage. And by the way, if the thread says "Flexjet", it doesn't mean, "How does this relate to Netjets and lets talk about what is working and not working at Netjets and, what about Netjets is doing with Netjets"

The reason the "shrinking the company" strategy seems so bizarre is that it IS exactly that: bizarre. That is why the company is NOT doing it. They are streamlining the company so we can stay profitable during economic hard times, and will expand it as the market dictates. Assertions to the contrary are why Luthi has presided over and contributed to the dissolution of two companies in his checkered Union career. He is wrong, and probably knows he is wrong, but feels the troops need stirring up. It is all about him and his status as The Leader. Well, I have news for him, I don't need or want a Leader.
I guess you didn't read what one of the Fab 4 posted that was actually at the company that ML "contributed" to the dissolution of?

Please stop posting disinformation.

BTW...sorry for the hijack...

That dips&!T needs to be refuted at every turn though.

I just read this thread from the start. It sounds like the airlines and the fracs have a lot in common right now. Stagnation(and even worse) really sucks. Just read a news clip about Dr. Doom, Roubini, predicting another tough decade. I hope this time he's wrong, we could all use a break.
