Yes, we are. The bigger question is what good is it?

What is IS-BAO?
IS-BAO – an International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations is an industry code of best practice. It has been developed by the industry for the benefit of the industry. It is the industry’s contribution to promoting highly professional operational practices. IS-BAO is intended to build upon the excellent safety record already established by business aviation.
In many business sectors, international standards are recognized for their role in facilitating global commerce. IS-BAO is similar in this respect as its fundamental purpose is to foster standardized, safe and highly professional aircraft operations. The President of the ICAO Council has endorsed the efforts of the business aviation community in developing an industry 'code of practice'.
What is the Current Status?
Since the IS-BAO was launched in May 2002 over 300 copies have been purchased worldwide. To date 32 operators have completed IS-BAO implementation and become IS-BAO Registered. The number includes business aviation flight departments and AOC holders in Brazil, Canada, France, the Netherlands, South Africa and the United States.
In the recent survey of IS-BAO holders, responses indicated that 50% of the operators who had not yet achieved IS-BAO Registration were working towards registration in 2005, while 19% indicated that they have implemented or are implementing IS-BAO but were not planning to have an audit to become registered. Of the same group, 10% indicated that they were undecided on implementation and/or registration.
The benefits of IS-BAO implementation that were identified by those who had already achieved IS-BAO Registration were:

- Enhanced operating safety
72%

- Team building and pride of achievement
72%

- Efficiencies improvements in operations achievement and/or maintenance
50%

- Increases employee satisfaction
40%

- Improved senior management understanding of the operation
40%

- Reduced insurance rates
28%

- Improved regulator understanding and confidence
20%

I think there are about 70 or so operators worldwide that have this status......take it for what its worth.
