They also claim 98% placement with regionals like Air Canada, Wisconson, Comair, Mesa, Skywest, Pinnacle etc.....

Air Canada is not a regional, it is a major. It also does not, as stated above, hire foreign citizens. So if RAA was claiming; 1. that it was a regional, 2. that they can get you a job there, they are hugely full of s_hit. Those seem to be pretty huge red flags stating stay away.

The only game in town here has 2 C-172's and they get $85 an hour for em. Then the CFI is another $35. Even Block time of 10hrs or more is $78.

$78 is actually pretty cheap. HMR is right, small FBOs are the way to go. The planes are usually always sitting on the ramp, ready to go. Drop in, grab a key, and off you go.

That's a lot of CFI's maxed out and a LOT of planes sent to 100hr inspections in a SHORT amount of time...

not to mention I don't think many of us would feel safe to be flying with a 90-day pilot on board...or maybe that's just me.

Like HMR said -- don't pay $70k for all your ratings...go somewhere they actually care about their students' performance, learn the right way and allow your brain some time to soak it all up!

Regional Airline Academy...not actually PHX...Mesa...

based at williams gateway (IWA), also where ATP is located.

not sure if that's what you were asking  ...derf.
