What's the going rate these days for an international airplane delivery? We're delivering an XL from the states to Eastern Europe. We're very qualified and experienced and done many trips across the pond, but have not done a contract job in quite a while. Given that it'll be December and the weather is likely to be a factor, would it better for us to charge by the day? With ideal conditions, it'll be a 5 day trip, including prep and airline back. Also, what if we provided all the trip planning and charts? I know that that can cost $5-7 thousand (from Jeppesen) just by itself.
I'm thinking $1200-$1500 a day per pilot. Am I way out, or does this seem reasonable?

It is what everyone else charges for international. If you get any grief about the rate remind them that you will out of it for a couple of days after the trip.

Do not forget the business class airline tickets home.
