JOB TITLE: INTERNATIONAL PLANNER
REPORTS TO: SENIOR INTERNATIONAL PLANNER
SUMMARY
Provide working interface on an as requested basis between the Operating Units of Jet Aviation and the client relating to the client’s travel requirement for flights operating outside Continental limits of the United States.
DESCRIPTION:
Ø Assist aircraft management, charter, partnership and flight support clients, dispatchers, flight management and charter representatives with itinerary preparation for all trips flying outside of the Continental limits of the United States.
Ø Plan international flight itineraries in accordance with applicable government regulations and company policy.
Ø Obtain aircraft over flight and landing permits as needed from civil and military aviation authorities.
Ø Secure ground handling, fueling arrangements for all international flights conducted on client’s aircraft.
Ø Obtain arrival / departure slots for aircraft operations being conducted outside of the United States.
Ø Secure customs / immigration for aircraft operations being conducted outside of the United States.
Ø Obtain visas for crewmembers and passengers on an as required basis.
Ø Review all international trip itineraries for compliance with flight crewmember rest requirements and flight and duty limitations.
Ø Prepare trip documentation file for the flight crew’s use on all international trips.
Ø Brief flight crews prior to departure on all international flight assignments.
Ø Debrief flight crews upon return from all international trip assignments.
Ø Maintain data bases pertinent to international trip planning.
Ø Perform other duties as requested by the Senior International Planner.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Ø Four year College degree with a concentration in Aviation is preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ø Must have at least four years of experience working in a corporate aviation dispatch / flight scheduling capacity
Ø Must possess excellent oral and written English communication skills
Ø Must be proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
Ø Must have the ability to work unsupervised and multitask numerous forms of information from multiple sources
Ø Must be able to understand basic aviation technologies such as aircraft range, speed, capacity, landing requirements, etc., and how these might affect the customer’s selection of an aircraft for a particular mission.
Ø Must have a valid driver’s license
