I need some information regarding International Handling companies. I have used Universal in the past, but would like to know if anyone else have used other companies for International Handling.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Agreed!

Air Routing has always provided me with a quality service.

used Universal (green team) last few years and found them very good! Also heard good things of air routing and Base Ops...

I think all the major ones are good, or they would not be in business anymore...

I spent 6 weeks jumping all over Europe a couple summers ago. I had previously used Universal but I decided to give Jepp a try. I would not go back to Universal :)

Thanks

Thanks for the input!

My last trip using Universal was not very smooth. I want to try someone different the next time we fly over the pond.

Merry Christmas!!

About 40 % of the flights we do at our company are international, and we pretty much solely use Air Routing now. Have used Universal in the past, but they have dropped the ball quite a few times.

At a previous job I used Jeppesen, they treated us very well, but then again, that was mostly Carribean and Bermuda.

It seems that certain handlers are better in certain regions, I heard Universal is great in South America.

Hope this helps,
FF

JEPP UK does a great job when hopping around between places in Europe. They are very in touch with European procedures. But I wouldn't use JEPP for going to/from Europe.

Just Based on my experiences.

We've used Jepesson's Internation Trip Handling the last four trips (800-358-6468) and they have always provided excellent service.

A good source for info on handlers would be the NBAA IOB's if you can get a copy of one and see what crews are saying (most comment on how the handling was and who provided it).

We've been with Universal...the previous comments are accurate. Tried Colt International (www.coltinternational) on our last trip and it was very smooth operation. I think they might have stolen some of Universal's best people.
