Anyone out there know if Intel has a flight department? Been looking around for it and can't seem to come up with any info. -- Just did a search on this and got all the info I need..... now on to the next question...

Anyone know of a corporate flight department that has regular flights, or maybe just occasional flights to Portugal? Just curious..... Thanks, ATCCFI

info a little old but...they own I believe 6 emb135 and one or two b1900. A company ADI out of pontiac MI manages the all deal, I might add this is the 3rd or 4th managing company in the past 10 years. Tough customer to deal with.

Good luck.

intel does not have a flight department per se...but hire a company to do it for them...they fly two EMB135's out of MHR(Mather)...but the requirements are outrageous

Trajen?

Is Trajen still involved? I have a buddy that was a YV B1900 capt. that would pick up some extra $$ flying for them on his days off. He said they were a pain in the rear to deal with.

Some of my TWA homies interviewed to be based at Williams Gateway in PHX. I think the pay was $35k to start. I believe they passed.TC

AA is right ... they pay 35k for F.O. and 60K for Capt.

Stay clear

ADI is a very poor management company...Intel went for cheap and that is what they got...Prior to getting the Intel contract they had a Jurrasic Jet (F-28) and a couple of Hawkers. They are way beyond their capabilities and it has shown.

They claim to be an employee friendly company but they keep taking from their employees and they have driven morale very low!!!

I hear employees are leaving in droves...

While that is probably all true, they never seem to have any openings in HIO.

5000 hrs left seat 3000 right...I hear

Why would you consider those time requirements outrageous?

There are still thousands of furloughed pilots on the street with 6,7, 10,000 hours of flight time.

Most quality departments (and Im not saying this one is, I dont know them) wont even look at a pilot with less than 4 or 5 thousand hours.

Wolf, they don't even need to screen pilots via time anymore. The latest "rage" for cutting down on applicants is to add a recency requirement, or one of my personal favorites ... the uninterrupted medical requirement. That alone eliminates most furloughed guys from consideration.

For their sake, I hope these jacka$$es doing the screening don't get furloughed themselves. I'm sure it will be a different story when they're on the other side of the spear.
