I have let my CFII and MEI expire. What is the process to renew these licenses?

Thank you for the help

Yeap, sorry bud. But theres good news and bad news concerning this.

BAD NEWS... you have to go up with a Designated Examiner and redo an instructor checkride all over again.

GOOD NEWS... once you pass that checkride, you will get all of your instructor ratings re-instated.

ADVICE... pick the easier of the three to do the checkride, to make it easier on yourself! Most career pilots that this happens to will pick the CFII to retake, since the Instrument world is more common and easy to relate to and teach.
