Need help to build a list of books about flight instruction please.
Any book names on this topic would be appreciated.

instructor books?

I assume you are wanting to study for CFI? If so I would suggest getting the books required by the FAA. They are:
Aviation Instructor's Handbook
Airplane Flying Handbook
Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge

If you are going for CFII you'll need:
Instrument Flying Handbook

All of these books are about $15 each and are available from the FAA.

I am making a list of reference books for basic and advanced instruction - anything from initial CFI to airline facilitation/debriefing CIV & MIL is relevant as long as they focus on instruction (How to teach not what to teach).
Thanks.

Books

You must obtain every one of the FAA pubs and manuals. Look at the PTS for each instructor certificate to determine the ones that you don't have. Although many people prefer commercial publications to the FAA pubs, as a CFI you are responsible for all the information contained in them. The FAA publications are the agency's last word on what to know, how to teach it, and how to do it.

As long as you know it, say it and do it as set forth by the FAA, your examiner has to pass you or your student for it, even you think it should be done differently, your student thinks it should be done differently, or the examiner thinks it should be done differently.

Bobbysamd's & Braidkid's lists are the best for initial FAA CFI, here are some additional books for the list:
Note: Use FAA publications as primary publications for FAA checkrides!!! (The list can be useful if you are developing a university program/library, training CRM instructors and so on, or to find more details and background information about topics in the FAA books.)
