After earning my CFI in October 2002 and my CFII in May of 2003, I finally gave my first hour of dual yesterday. I might actually get the hang of this.

There is no real point to this post. I just thought I'd share.

Just never let your guard down with your students.

You did make a point. So many new pilots do not want to be flight instructors because they don't think they'd be good at it (although I think they feel instructing is beneath them). Surprisingly, they try it, they like it, and become good instructors.
