Hi i have started to do my instructor rating and previously i never thought instructing was for me. These days i am starting to think that it would be a pretty rewarding job to teach to the best of my abilities aswell as continue to learn by saving my own life on a regular basis. In other words im thinking of paying my dues via instcuting. My question is....

With 800-1000TT
90-100 Multi

what kind of job would i be able to land? Or...would i need to instruct to get past the 1000 hours point? I think i would like to instruct, however im not sure if i would be able to do it for several years after what i have heard from some of my firends who are currently instructing. Thanks for your responses.

Most regionals will look at you with that time. Some 135 charter may hire you as a cheap SIC in a jet as well. You'll be a gopher boy too.

The numbers you listed are where you start to become competitive for the low end jobs. IF you manage 1200 TT you could get on wirh some freight outfits as well, but this is usually PIC single pilot IFR flying. A little more demanding but will do wodners for your hand flying skills. The pay is usually a little better too, compare to the first couple of years at a regional.

To elaborate on what Rakefight said, you should try to hammer out the 135 IFR PIC mins. This can be done fairly painlessly through instructing, and from the looks of your numbers you're well on your way there. Once you can meet the 135 mins, a whole bunch of doors will open to you.

Best of luck to you as a CFI. Despite the horror stories, it is pretty rewarding in terms of experience and stick skills.
