I'm considering an instructing job with AF, would like to know if any of you guys instruct with AF ? Hows the pay ? How are the aircraft ? How much flying you doing ? Do they have a base pay?
Thanks, Tony

first off did you do any train at af? these af guys usually only hire cfis that have gone through their courses. several years back i tried to get a jor there and they said no. even though i had lots of instruction given vs. the brand new af cfis. unless you know someone, dont bother. besides the pay is ~$10.00/hour. you would be better off freelancing and making 30-40 an hour. hope this helps.

Actually I did my Instrument Rating with them at their Islip, NY location. They pay their instructors $10 hr . I've been freelancing for the last year at $35 per hour. Flight and ground.
Thanks for the info
