I have an interview with Eagle in Oct and was looking for general information on them. What people like, dislike about working there, upgrade times, expected growth, what the current situation with the flowback/flowthrough program is working and when is it expected to work the correct way again, and lastly since I am a relatively young guy what the possibility of an RJ ORD FO spot is? Any info would help...thanks

WOW! the people good. Solid company... The upgrade..5 years. 38 aircraft in 05 + 25 CRJ-700 options, most likley comming in 05-06? Don't count on a flowthrough anymore. Flowback? as long as AA stops laying off in OCT it will come to a end in JAN/FEB 05. If AA recalls upgrade will come way down 190+ AA pilots at Eagle right now, also leaving at about 4-10 a month. If they bypass the AA recall they have to bid FO at Eagle(what Eagle DOH can hold). You should be able to get the EMB or CRJ in ORD easy. I think Eagle longrun is a good company, if you can be patient with the upgrade time.

There will many that will say it is a dead-end job, etc, but the above is a fair assessment of AE without the politics.

AE is getting 3 RJs a month and is the fastest growing regional in the world. AA is still furloughing and has projected no growth for AA flying for 2005. The flowbacks have not been as many as had been anticipated, many were excluded from the process. Roughly 2700 on the seniority list, a friend who didn't have the flowback option hired on a number of months ago and has over 400 below him. The attrition will continue. If you have not flown Part 121, this is a good training ground and it is not as stagnat as many will say.
