If you're interested in more of a career on the 135 side it this is a pretty good place to be. I am under the impression that time gained here is pretty valuable in the 135 world.

I hope I don't sound down on the company or anything, I like it here. Just realize that you will probably need at least 1 or 2 other jobs after ACC to get to FedEx!

Good point. ACC is a great place to start a career if you want to fly boxes instead of going to a regional. You get to fly turbine equipment part 135 with low hours. ACC will not get you driectly to a major unless you have stellar contacts, but it is valuable time and expierence gained for low timers.

What are the schedules like? Can you commute?

Any idea how long it takes to get into the DA-20 and how much they fly a month? Do they stil have 2 of them? If I remember correctly they only fly on demand.

As for the guys saying they had problems in interviews with Shorts time...thats the first I've heard of it. I've never had so much as one raised eyebrow about the Shed time in my logbook. Yeah it's low and slow....but the pilot you become after some time in the airplane speaks for itself in training at your next airline.

Not so much as looked down upon but more of "it's not KA time and we really want KA experience". I usually have to explain what a Shorts is to most people. They undestand a SkyVan but the 330/360 is somewhat unknown to most people. Still...I enjoyed every minute in Short Bus...

2000TT, 500 multi, 250 turbine... prior DA-20 experience is a huge plus.
Only 2 of them, and they are on demand. Schedule is 10 on 4 off.
