Why can't these images be shown in the paper or on the nightly news?
Because CBS, et. al. can't edit or alter them to fit their story that they are trying to create.

Some good pics in there. Nice job.

That's a powerful video...really tugs at the heart and makes you think. If you look at the make-up of America, there's almost 290 million people here. There are only about 2.8 million active duty military and approximately another 1.5 million serving in the National Guard/Reserve forces (source: Dept of Defense website). They're the ones who go out and do the job for our country. Add to their numbers a shrinking number of Veterans (I can only guess, so I'd say upwards of 10 million or so) from our previous conflicts and you have a relatively small percentage of people who stand up for the USA outside the borders. Only their families and they realize the commitment and calling that these men and women share. A whole lot of people like the advantages of living in America, but don't find the time to support it...makes you wonder.

Sorry for venting a bit. Thanks for posting the site to the video...

Anyone have another link? Seems this site has been suspended.

Military attitudes

It's interesting that the mass media and certain partisan individuals and groups (ie, Michael Moore, Moveon.org, et al) love to paint the military as an organization that is chock full of people that dislike Bush for sending us to war in Iraq, and the media particularly zooms in on the Guard/Reservists (some of whom are complaining, but not in the numbers you'd think from watching CBS/NBC, etc).

In a recent Military Times poll (unscientific, mind you...it polled only subscribers, but still telling), a full 75% or thereabouts will vote for Bush and support the war effort. Interestingly, among Guard/Reserve respondents, their support for Bush is higher! Interesting.

**CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** the media

They cannot understand why some place the lives of others ahead of themselves, to them it just boggles the mind why anyone would do what these men and women do.

I’ve spent so much money in the past two years on donations, care packages and calling cards, my wife thinks I have a mistress and I have no clue to whom they went to.

All I know is that I’m positive they were put to good use.

Thank you for doing that. You're a good man.

Very poignant. Very true.

From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd;
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.
--KING HENRY V, Act IV, Scene III

Great pictures.
