The deadline is fast approaching, but the ICAS is accepting applications until Sept 1st for these scholarships:
Jan Jones Memorial Scholarship.
Recipient must be a female holding a private pilot certificate. The grant is for aerobatic flight training. Scholarship amount: $1,000.
The French Connection Memorial Scholarship.
The recipient must be a certified flight instructor (CFI), and the scholarship monies must be used for aerobatic flight training. Both a male and a female recipient will be selected. Scholarship amounts: $1,000 each.
Charlie Hillard Memorial Scholarship.
The recipient must be between the ages of 18 and 30, and the grant must be used towards flight training. Scholarship amount: $1,000.
Red Barons Memorial Scholarship.
The recipient must be a U.S. citizen, age 16 or older, and must use the scholarship monies towards instruction in tailwheel aircraft operations or aerobatic flight. Scholarship amount: $1,000.
