They can strike but the slack will be picked up by the JetBlue pilots who will load the baggage after cleaning the cabins...

I never thought I'd see baggage handlers have more backbone than a pilot group.
 
I know Alaska with Menzies Aviation handling their baggage at Seattle has decided to outsource. Apparently this has not been a smooth transition with damaged a/c, plus a rise in complaints and lawsuits.

Menzies is an international firm in 20 countries. It would be interesting to see what Jetblue does if handlers vote to go IAMs.

Dude, we don't need a union to get screwed. We can muster that one up all by our lonesome. And we'll save 2% in doing so. Now that's LCC, biznitch.
