Well I dont feel bad about the printers...its the PAX who think youre a gate agent while youre getting the release that sucks...

When do stripes stand for Customer Service Agent?

True. And they always seem so annoyed that you don't know the answer! I had a 3 hour turn in SFO the other day so I decided to walk around the airport. Got on the airtrain and a passenger asked me how to get to the rental cars. She was genuinely peeved that I didn't know!

As annoying as it can be, I've decided to make that the best part of their flying day. You are not above them. Engage them, do the best you can to answer their question, inject some humor. Flying United is a nightmare, try to make their day just a touch better.

Yeah man that was my attitude for the longest time in IAD. If you knew me you'd know that I usually bend over backwards for PAX but after a long day of scheduling screwing me over and standing at the computer trying to figure out how to get home I was tired...and listening to about 25 PAX yelling at me because I didnt have the ability to fix the fact that UAL overbooked their flight got to me. Well that and the fact that most people dont think...at all...15 minute connections?!?!?!?!?! Were you born in a plastic bag?!?!?!?!?

I need a beer! A woman and some good w**d..,then I'll be alright...
