I recently got injured and cannot fly. My company offers health insurance but I recently became eligible for it and have not signed up. I know it's too late to do anything about that. I'm about to miss 6-8 weeks of work do I have any options in terms of being compensated or am I screwed.

If you and/or your employer paid into the California Disability fund, you should get some compensation from the state.

More information would be useful in attempting to properly respond to your question.

Have you sought workers compensation? Were you injured on the job? In what state do you live? What's the nature of your injury?

Is your employer intending to hold your position?

You ask if you have any means of being compensated. To be compensated means to be reimbursed something you're owed. Do you feel that you're owed the two months pay by someone, or that someone is obligated to pay you? If so, whom?

Are you asking if your employer should be responsible to pay you, even if you're not available for work?

More details will be helpful.

Thanks avbug I live in MA and no I don't think my employer owes me anything. It was not an on the job injury. I simply don't know if there are programs set up by the government or private companies to assist people. I also believe my company will be holding my position which is more than I could ask for.
