Can someone help me figure out the numbers that ABX and Astar bring in. I just have a hard time believing the DPWN rhetoric that it will save them $1 billion a year when they will pay UPS $1 billion to take the air freight. We still do not know what they will be paying the USPS, so that is on top of the $2 billion to send it all to brown each year plus the billions to make it all happen.
I do not know Astar financial numbers, and not may do, but it can't be to hard to get in the ball park.
Reuters has ABX annual revenue by about $80 million from dhl. I am sure Astar is close to that mark as well. http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUSBNG33133520080528
Are our overhead costs that high to equate to $2 billion prior to their new USPS costs?
Not that it makes a difference, but I think DPWN may be pulling a crap job to the press and investors about their plan.
