Can someone help me figure out the numbers that ABX and Astar bring in. I just have a hard time believing the DPWN rhetoric that it will save them $1 billion a year when they will pay UPS $1 billion to take the air freight. We still do not know what they will be paying the USPS, so that is on top of the $2 billion to send it all to brown each year plus the billions to make it all happen.

I do not know Astar financial numbers, and not may do, but it can't be to hard to get in the ball park.

Reuters has ABX annual revenue by about $80 million from dhl. I am sure Astar is close to that mark as well. http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUSBNG33133520080528
Are our overhead costs that high to equate to $2 billion prior to their new USPS costs?

Not that it makes a difference, but I think DPWN may be pulling a crap job to the press and investors about their plan.

You're right, it doesn't matter, really... personally, I doubt there is much to them beyond what meets the eye. The Germans are a bunch of bafoons... Hogan's Heroes somehow comes to mind.

Gotta be a lawsuit against DP or DHL due to the sheer incompetence they have demonstrated through out the entire history of their involvement with ABX.

Scuttling the B2B business plan that ABX was using sucuessfully.

Abandoning the billion dollar CVG sort center one year after it was built and moving the entire op to ILN.

It smacks of petty politics and rank indecision on the part of fools.

I hope you guys at least get your union involved is exploring a law suit.

?
And how is DPWN able to put a cost number to a UPS contract that is supposedly not yet negotiated??
