Does that count?
The EAA runs one called the "Air Academy." They have their own lodge located right on Pioneer Airport grounds next to the museum. it runs every July just before the big Oshkosh show. I think it goes for 2-3 weeks and covers everything from Warbird restoration to building a Glasair homebuilt. Its geared for kids 14-18. So yes, there is a real pilot camp.mattpilot said:there is a pilot camp??

It still wasn't paved when I went to work there in 1988. The sim lab was in a prefab housing-type building. That, too, felt like pilot camp.mar said:I graduated ERAU PRC in 1990.
When I got there in 1986 the parking lot wasn't paved. To a snot nosed kid from LA it felt like pilot camp.
