Overheard in the elevator today that ASA had just inked the deal for 50 717's. Got such a good deal on the former TWA airplanes just could not pass it up. They are supposed to be flown by recalled Mainline pilots that get tacked on the bottom of the current ASA seniority list. Pay rates to be the same as the last equipment flown at mainline. Benefits will remain and seniority to accue at Big D. No flow through for the ASA pilots til August 2007 when there is a blue moon. Yup, If you made it this far you really got sucked in. April Fools!. There could never be any 'real' news like that in today's environment. Enjoy the Spring-- Summer's coming.
