Many of you have read the text of HR 2719 due to the ALPA site.

If not, read this: http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=108_cong_bills&docid=f:h2719ih.txt

However, I heard a *rumor* and have been unable to substantiate said rumor: Since the introduction of the aforementioned bill, there has been an amendment added PERMITTING CABOTAGE (with respect to freight) within the US, specifically, Alaska as a gateway.

I searched all the government sites, with no avail.

Anyone?

This is true. Cabotage of cargo thru Alaska would be the first thing. Pretty soon, they will open it up to pax. Write your representative now! They (Management) will not look out for us, only we will!

HR2719

There is nothing in or amended to 2719 that would allow cabotage. Check Thomas.loc.gov and see all about the bill and where it stands. It is a good bill and hope it passes,it would save many pension plans and keep us old f@rts from working past 60 in part 91 and 135. Mobs
