Have been consistently updating information on their website but now it isn't accepting pilots, and I have moved and taken another position, any comments on getting in the door there, or fax number to get on top of someone's stack?

Thanks

do you know anyone there? that would be your best bet! I don't think that you have to worry because they have to clean out the pool of people that they promised interviews to from the last job fair prior to there hiring freeze. After that they should probably get there web page back and running and then you can update it.

Yeah I would definately track down some old friend/instructor/gardener whoever that is currently a line pilot and get them to submit your resume to HR. They are calling in pilots for new interviews, and as of last week they had them scheduled through mid September.

I think there are a lot of current SKYW pilots who have friends they'd like to get on so there is more than enough internal recommendations right now to supply interview demand. As to when the site will reopen, who knows?

Good luck...

have you walked any resumes in lately? Mine is being walked in on tuesday, and was wondering if you had walked any in and they had gotten a interview since this rehiring boom. I did not have a online application in with them but did fill out the hard copy one. Do you think that matters? How fast did they get a call after the resume was walked in? Anyone that has done this to I would welcome any information!

I had a bit of email correspondance with H.R. and asked them what was the best way to recommend future pilot interview candidates and was given an email to send resumes to. I was gonna walk them in but I know they're really busy so I did what they asked and emailed them the next day attached to a letter of rec. One guy was called the following morning, one has not yet gotten a call. This was last week.

I think all you need is to have a resume submitted by a line pilot and if the timing is right they'll call you. You don't need to have the app filled out until the interview.
