Lets not forget the planes that fall out of the sky to rescue poorly maintained Beechjets and Hawkers.
Please post any thing that you have learned through experience on preflighting a Flight Options Legacy.

I have heard that some of the Legacy SICs have actually been conditioned to not preflight the plane at all. This thread should give guidance to the lost and misguided crewmembers.
 
Make sure the fuel sump tool is present. I it is not onboard and placed on MDL. The plane still cannot move until someone sumps it (like maintenance) but thats if they have the proper Embraer sump tool.

Per the Embraer External Preflight Checklist and Embraer AFM.
