Exactly what the title says.. When do they cut off the applicants?

You need to make some phone calls:

Air Force Reserve Recruiting (1-800-257-1212)
Air Force Recruiting (1-800-423-USAF)
Air National Guard Recruiting (1-800-TOGOANG)

Recruiters are your best source for current qualifications. Note - I didn't
say recruiters were your best source of 'information' as they're really just
salesman in drag, their mission is to get you to sign on the dotted line
then raise your right hand. But they certainly will have the age, physical
and education requirements handy.

Let me get it out of the way and tell you that you could have easily found the answer by doing a search. With that said, I recommend baseops.net. It has a wealth of knowlege. User beware: Don't go there and ask basic questions without searching.

As to the answer...

30 by UPT.

Some waivers approved.

This translates into selection by:

Guard: 28.5 +/-
Active/Res: 29 +/-

USMCAirWinger - Thank you..

Those are absolute max for age. Since most ANG units interview at least a year prior to sending you. It's tough to get an interview if you're over 27. If you can get your FC1 done as well as the BAT and AFOQT now, it may help your interview package(sts) more competitive.
