The big question is the pilot still flying? Was it an owner/operator? CJ2 correct?

Nope, never wondered, ten years working at an FBO makes you realize that people do dumb things with airplanes.

Damn that was hilarious!
Except for the the fact that he was going for this years Darwin award and tried to take some innocent people with him.
What really surprises me is that no gangbangers decided to snipe the rescue boats before the cops arrived.
That was always why I would never walk from there to the strip!

Hopefuly that guy either forcefully retired or took at least 3 709 rides after that idiotic episode!
 
Anyone know which guy in the boat was the pilot? Or perhaps he was still in the plane going bass fishing or something. What a way to troll.
