Emailed my resume on the last day of November or so. Nothing in the mail yet. 6000-plus hours, current B747 and A300 PIC, a few hundred hours in Lear 20 and 30 series from a previous job several years ago. I would assume I am competitive to at least get an application? Any ideas?

I would advise patience, and letters of recommendation.

I have heard (this is pure RUMOR) that NJA has received 7,000 to 10,000 resumes since the 2007 CBA ratification (Dec 7). That is a lot to process.

Is there no way to get an adobe version that can be completed on the pc and printed? I don't own a typewriter and would'nt want to use hand writing.

If you take your time and try to write legibly, you shouldn't have any problems. I have pretty atrocious handwriting (just ask my wife) but I filled out the NJA app by hand and got hired. So take your time to print legibly and get the app filled out properly and submitted in a timely manner.

Remember, NJA isn't hiring you to be a secretary.

After filling out the .pdf from online and sending it in with cover letter and resume, do you get additional paperwork in the mail?
