For the new UPS guys going to Anchorage, how long until you can transfer to a different domicile? What about the impact of age 65 retirements? Just wondering.

somewhere between 1 year (bid off the MD or 400) or 6 years wait till those below you bid capt. Age 65 - add five years to above numbers

I'd say 12 months (probation) + the time to the next system bid.
Age 65? Not sure if this is a different question or still about bidding out of ANC. Whether the rule changes or not (and it probably will soon) you can always bid out of ANC as soon as your probation is up and there is a system bid (~fleet and seat preference bid). There are always pilots who want to go to ANC (no really!) and those who do not. I am amazed at how many guys I've ran into that were hoping for ANC and got ONT or SDF. Most of them live there already and will bid ANC as soon as they are allowed to.
