I'm converting my Canadian Commmercial Multi/IFR licence to FAA licences. I am wondering how the hiring process goes in the states. In Canada it involves lots of driving and showing up in the right place at the right time. Is this the same in the US, or is it more of a fax/email thing?

I was born in Texas and would like to move back to that area of the country. Besides Central Air South, what freight operators are in that area of the country? I have 1100 TT with 420 PIC and 540 Multi-SIC time for what it is worth.

You were born in the states and went to Canada aey? Whats wrong with Jazz....?

What's wrong with Jazz? Nothing, besides the fact that I don't have an ATPL. I worked with some laid off Jazz guys when I was flying the twin otter in Haiti who were all great to hang out with.

I would definately go to Jazz if I had the opportunity.
