Mailed in my application today. I don't have an internal recommendation. 3300 Total Time with a good bit of international experience. What are my chances of getting an interview?

Thanks!

I've heard it is getting harder and harder. Good luck.

Hi, I knew no one as well when I went a few years back. From what Derinda told me recently, they grade your application. i.e. type rating in whatever gets the most points, then recommendation letters, etc... Also, make sure you are honest about the reason why are leaving your job. Do not leave it blank. A friend did, re-submitted his resume then got a no thank you letter. Just make sure it is complete. If it isn't, you won't hear back from them at all. They will just keep your file as incomplete. These tips came from Derinda herself. Very nice lady by the way.

Like i said, I knew no one, but had a type and about 4k hours.

when our IBB passes it will next to impossible to get on......first FO will be around 50-60k......100 bases....forget it.....they will have so many resumes they can be picky....

glad i got hired back when everyone was complaining the pay sucked.....lol

You could try to meet some NJA crewmembers and see if they'd be willing to help you out. As with most jobs, an internal recommendation is very helpful.

My feeling is that if IBB is ratified and with it, basing options improve and pay goes up, you'll find that the competitive minimums at NJA will go even higher.

You don't know if the fish are biting until you put your hook in the water.

You need an ATP. Types help, recommendation letters help, mowing my yard helps...

You are going to have your pick of a bunch o'jobs. Choose wisely my son. So you don't end up like Henry Blake.;)

Hi!

U have your app in now, which is great.

As time goes on, and more people find out about the "awesome" (depending on your point of view) new contract, more and more people will be applying.

IF it passes, the deluge will begin.

You might want to keep updating your resume, if you're currently flying, with Derinda, as that may help you get an interview, or get the interview quicker.

Derinda has always stated that minimums are just that. Once you have them you have them. No such thing as competitive minimums. If you meet the requirements and they take the time to mail you the package and you fill it out and they accept it you can expect an interview at some point in time. How long varies greatly. I think the line is about to get a whole lot longer though.

I have heard that in order to get it on with Netjets takes the following:

1) Nice restaraunt
2) Good Movie
3) At least two bottles of wine
