How favorably does an airline look on 135 PIC Jet Time as opposed to 121 at a regional?Right now I have the opportunity to possiblystay at a 135 carrier nd upgrade rather than jump to a regional getting more right seat turbine. Would a national airline hire somone whose PIC is 135 or would they toss your resume because of your lack of 121 experience?

PIC is what you need to meet many airline quals. PIC Jet, my opinion, is better that say turboprop. Turbine is turbine, however, jet is great to have. I'm not sure but some airlines may want to see that you have flown under 121 (not sure but I think Airtran is one??).

If given the opportunity PIC jet is better than going to a regional to get SIC jet or even turboprop. Of course it goes without saying that there is more to the job than PIC or SIC (pay, qol, schedule, benifits...)

best of luck.
