Would like to find out how far anyone would go to fly a night freight Caravan job. It pays good, but quite a far commute. These times are tough and flying jobs are hard to come by. I was offered this position ad need to make a decision on it. Any comments?

Hi!

One of the guys at my co. used to commute from AK to DTW.

Last year while jumpseating on NWA, I met a capt who lived in Toronto, and commuted to a major city in India to fly for Air India. That's gotta be a record!!!

do it

take the job. deal with the commute. great plane to fly. and unless youve got some other definite jobs in the fire....take this one now. it'll be a while till you get another offer......unless youre already flying a good job now....its up to you tho. if youre not flying now...do it right away. if you are still flying now, its up to you.
